Old me

This is about the tenth time I’ve done the I’m Going Grey thing. This time I think it’s going to take.

I’d like to say that my decision to let the grey grow in is because I want to be a healthier, more natural person. It’s not. I’ve finally become too lazy to keep up with the coloring and too cheap to pay someone to do it for me. I was thinking about adding some funky colors to the whitest parts from time to time. Bright red for Valentine’s Day, green for St. Patrick’s Day, purple for Grape Jelly Day. That kind of thing. But that would mean taking a break from the whole lazy thing and I’m not quite ready for that.

  1. Have you tried the foam in color? It is much easier than doing the other kind, with roots and what not. Although if you do go grey and stay I like the idea of now and then doing something fun. And you will look great either way.

  2. I gave it up a long time ago because, like you, I was too cheap to pay the beauty shop prices to get a good dye job. They also changed the formula for the OTC coloring I used. Dark Golden Blonde ended up looking like chocolate ice cream with cherry sauce highlights. I was fortunate that I had my dad’s gray, a very pretty shiny silver/pewter almost. I get many compliments on it. Especially when I remember to use Matrix’s SoSilver shampoo. Really makes the silver pop!

  3. Wow, amazing blog layout! How long have you been blogging for? you make blogging look easy. The overall look of your website is wonderful, let alone the content
