Irony

A few minutes ago, my Yahoo homepage had a link to the following article. It seems a letter written by Abraham Lincoln was auctioned off for a cool $3.4 million.

I guess it didn’t buy him any respect, because–directly across from the link to this article–he’s hawking Subway sandwiches. In sunglasses. Good Lord.

  1. Yup, that’s about the size of it. Nothing is sacred in the advertising industry. I’m surprised they’re not selling advertising space on Lady Liberty yet.

I see your Screnzy is going well, or at least you’re racking up the page count. I’m doing okay too, considering I haven’t a structured idea of where the h*ck I’m going with it. But then, that’s my usual seat-of-the-pants technique.

    Got a new camera yet?

  2. I have a distinct advantage with Screnzy, since I knew my story inside & out before I even sat down to outline the script. Actually, it’s the first time I’ve ever written anything from an outline this detailed.

My hubby’s friend is looking at the camera to see if he can fix it. He’s pretty sure he knows what’s wrong with it.
