Back in the olden days, I used to go to bed early on turn-the-clock-back-an-hour night. I figured if the government was gonna give me an extra hour of sleep, I’d invest it and turn it into three.
But this year I stayed up to write instead. I figured if the government was gonna give me an extra hour in November, I’d use it for NaNoWriMo.

Very wise.
An excellent use of your time! Congratulations on your Nano count, too!
I got up early to write today, but through no good planning on my part. My internal clock miraculously changed to NaNo time, and I’m waking up early for some reason. NaNo is changing my body. Perhaps next it could make me thinner.
Is that your word count for one day? Great job! In the past I’ve always stayed up late and used that extra hour for writing or some other creative activity but for some reason I couldn’t keep my eyes open and got up a little early this morning instead. Odd, but if it works, who cares?
I did that, too. And woke up at 3am OBSESSED with a new idea. That has never happened to me. I was so afraid I’d forget it, or it would lose it’s magic, that I only dozed most of the night. Silly, I know.
1.21 JIGAWATTS?!
(Sorry. I can’t resist Doc Brown…)
I stayed up writing too! I feel I am getting moving again after a long stagnation. Yay!
