…and I’m tired. I’ll post a more in depth run down of my trip later on, but for now here’s just a brief Top Three Reasons Why Every American Should Visit Washington D.C.
1. United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. You will never be the same after going here. Nor should you be.
2. Lincoln Memorial. Photos do not do it justice.
3. The people who work in this building are making laws that affect YOU. Go see how it’s done.

I was totally blown away the first time I saw D.C.
The Lincoln Memorial is overwhelming. It makes me feel proud.
(..and heck, I’m Canadian!)
Seriously. We dont’ have any monuments of that awe-inspiring grandeur up here.
Definitely worth the trip. I’m going back.
